The only negative I ever felt was that my "pushing" muscles in my back and shoulders became very overdeveloped and now I am dealing with lingering kiphosis. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyphosis

Luckily, I love my physical therapist.

Your work continues to grow! Love the images you keep posting.

cheers,
Alex
Alex Sollahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12222528761667893874noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5407270762667029189.post-83926837001360483512013-05-09T17:50:46.278-04:002013-05-09T17:50:46.278-04:00As your physical therapist "aunt-in-law"...As your physical therapist "aunt-in-law" I am happy to see you being pro-active. Ron also spent years loading, unloading comics, records, concert equipment, etc in his many self-employed endeavors and it definitely took a toll on his back in later years. So sounds like you are being smart about things! I have spent a lifetime lifting children of various sizes and I find it catching up with me now as well. Strength training definitely more important as you age! I always loved being active but hated the weights-realize I need it more now!
Kaye Marshnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5407270762667029189.post-25018599306846846722013-05-09T12:46:58.681-04:002013-05-09T12:46:58.681-04:00Feldenkreis is a wonderful process. Way better use of the human structure.
Best wishes in your restructuring!Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17782414751610164883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5407270762667029189.post-69538811906016391612013-05-09T11:55:20.195-04:002013-05-09T11:55:20.195-04:00Very well thought out Joy. I love pottery but sometimes I wonder why I didn't pick a lighter art like jewelry making or watercolor:-) Just kidding of course.

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
