By hand


These hand carved bowls are only in the middle of their journey right now; they are wedged, thrown, squared, trimmed, carved, notched, and about to be slipped, bisque fired, glazed, and then wood fired!  

Then they're off from my hands to yours, to the wonderful pottery lovers in the world.

Have you ever made them just plain white? I do love your wood fired work but I also have a soft spot for plain white, especially with beautiful textures like yours!

Thanks Vicki! I haven't made them white, but that's an interesting idea! I don't use porcelain, but perhaps I will one day. Thanks for the comment!
