I love to collect seed pods on my walks with my dog. This time of year you can easily find Honesty Plant, or (Lunaria annua) growing nearby. This is also called money plant due to its' pods resembling silver coins. You can find more about this interesting plant, here. Just another one to put in my collection bowls.

When I was little, I thought I could grow money. I planted lots of nickels and dimes in my granny's and grandaddy's garden. One time a weed grew a few days later and I thought I was really growing a money tree. Of course, reality set in several weeks later when the weed died.
that is an absolutely beautiful plant... i don't recall ever seeing one and i wish i had
Love visiting your blog for the pots and for the inspirational photos; I grew the money plant years ago for the purple flowers and the seed pods were a real bonus.
That's a funny story, Ben! It's really a neat plant, although some might think it's an invasive weed!!
Thanks Linda, nice to hear you enjoy it!
wow , really cool shapes i can see them as a drawing already...and a fine line of iron oxide would bleed that shape nicely into a white satin glaze....
