This week I'm working on some vases and pitchers and will be finishing up some teapots and ewers tomorrow. They have so many parts to contend with, so the spouts and handles are going on tomorrow and that should finish them up! I always end the making cycle with the more altered, complicated pots since by then I'm warmed up in the studio. The only problem is I begin to start feeling rushed as the firing day is approaching soon...I need to stop and glaze very very soon!!Fall is in the air once again today...I already have a tree turning early!

I love to make baskets. I just wished everyone appreciated them as much as us potters did!

Too true (what Jen said!). I love making baskets but dont sell nearly as many as I would love to. They are also such space hogs in the kiln. All that dead-air around the handles makes me feel like I am wasting firing space. BUT I love making them.

lovely shaped baskets, i've never made them but maybe i should rethink that.
