Right up my alley

A texture study in the tidal creek at Pawley's island...

I took these right at sunset, with the last rays of glowing sun leaving shadows within the sand pockets.

ahh...If you can imagine, I went crazy over all this texture! It's absolutely amazing. Each day's patterns are a bit different from the changing tides. In some places you feel like you could be walking on another planet. It's beautiful to see so much diverse pattern all created and weathered over by water. I'm thinking only a hint of its beauty could be repeated in clay, but I'll have fun trying!
